Early Life

KL Rahul was born in 18 April 1992 in Bangalore, Karnataka. His father K. N. Lokesh works as a professor who formerly served as director of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka while his mother Rajeshwari works as a professor at Mangalore University.

Rahul developed an early passion for cricket and began formal training at the age of 10. He began his cricket career by playing for Bangalore United Cricket Club and various local teams which showed his skills as a batter with strong technical abilities.

Education

Rahul completed his schooling at NITK English Medium School, Surathkal, and later studied at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. He moved to Bengaluru for his academic studies and cricket career after he enrolled at Jain University to study while training for professional cricket.
