Sara Arjun is an Indian actress and model who works in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She started her acting career when she was very young and her performance as Nila in Deiva Thirumagal which released in 2011 established her as a well-known actress. Both critics and audiences praised her performance. She later starred in several hit movies including Saivam and Ek Thi Daayan and Jazbaa and the Ponniyin Selvan series. She will appear in the upcoming Hindi film Dhurandhar which will release in 2025.

Early Life

Sara Arjun was born 18 June 2005 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Raj Arjun the actor is her father. She started appearing in commercials when she reached the age of one and a half. She appeared in over 100 commercials prior to her film debut.

Career

Sara got her first advertisement when she was seen at a mall by a talent scout.[1][2] Later on, she made appearances in more than 100 advertisements, including a well-known McDonald's commercial. After viewing her previous work, director A. L. Vijay decided to cast her in Deiva Thirumagal (2011). She became well-known throughout India for her portrayal of the endearing and sensitive child, Nila, which was highly praised.

She carried on with her film career by acting in Ek Thi Daayan which released in 2013 and featured her as Misha and Chithirayil Nilachoru which is a Tamil-language movie and Saivam which showcased her acting skills through her portrayal of Tamizhselvi and Jazbaa which showed her as Aishwarya Rai's character daughter and Ann Maria Kalippilaanu which is a Malayalam family drama. The role of young Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan I and Ponniyin Selvan II which she played brought her extra recognition. Her upcoming role in the Hindi movie Dhurandhar will take place in 2025. Sara has acted in multiple short films and web series which include Parchayee in addition to her work in feature films.

Sara Arjun has generated major achievements in Indian cinema because of her acting abilities in Tamil Hindi and Malayalam films. She gained widespread recognition with Deiva Thirumagal (2011), where her emotionally powerful performance as a child artist won critical acclaim.
